About us

The Busselton Family Playgroup is based at The People Place (formerly known as the Busselton Family Centre) on Kent Street in Busselton. We have a great facility with large indoor and outdoor play areas and lots of toys that your kids are sure to love.
Our sessions run two days a week (Tuesday and Thursday) during the school terms and both sessions run from 9:00 till 11:30am. Playgroup is aimed at children between the ages of 0 and 5 years old.
A typical playgroup session involves free play, an adult supervised craft activity and morning tea.

Fees are $35 per term per family. This covers attendance in only one session (day) per week. Fees can be paid annually or by term. If you choose to pay annually but want to cancel your membership during the year, a refund will be provided for the unused portion of your membership fees.

Trial Visits

Potential new members are welcome to trial up to two free sessions over a two week period.

This gives those interested the opportunity to meet members from two different groups and get a good idea of how Playgroup runs.

We can keep everyone safe and healthy by:
– maintaining contact registers;
– keeping physical distancing, where possible;
– maintaining hygiene and frequent cleaning;
– remain home if unwell.

We can all do our part to reduce the potential risk of COVID-19 transmission in WA by
continuing to practise simple, but important public health measures.

Masks are mandatory at The People Place as of 6pm on 17th January 2022. There is plenty of signage around The People Place to remind you to wear your mask. (The People Place will NOT supply masks.)

We appreciate your support on this mandate. In addition, QR Check in Codes and hand sanitiser are available in the foyer and each room.

Any further updates we receive by the Government in regards to COVID19, will be circulated.
